Sang Bin

Born in March 1956, Sang Bin has long been engaged in the study of transformation of modern Chinese knowledge systems, Chinese scholars and academy since the Qing Dynasty, the history of modern Sino-Japanese relations, and the history and academic research of universities in modern China.

 

Sang Bin has published four books with high academic value, such asChinese Studies and Sinology, Research on Chinese Studies in the Late Qing Dynasty, Sun Yat-sen’s Activities and Thoughts, GengZi Qinwang and the Late Qing Political Situation. He has also published many high-quality academic papers that are regarded innovative, pioneering, empirical and scientific, in influential journals such as Chinese Social Science, Historical Research and Research of Modern History. Sang Bin is considered as one of the important promoters of the new trend of Chinese historical research around the year of 1990.
