【Speaker Introduction】:Dr. Vahid Aryadoust from the National Institute of Education of Nanyang Technological University is a member of well-known international associations such as the International Listening Association, American Association of Applied Linguistics, and the Cognitive Science Society.

【Lecture Abstract】：The goal of this paper is two-fold: firstly, it adopts a framework based on eye tracking to investigate the cognitive process of listening test takers and, secondly, it investigates the effect of test methods using an advanced neuroimaging technique called functional near-infrared spectroscopy.
