“The positive and negative factors of the relationship development with Central and Eastern European countries ” seminar was held successfully

The afternoon of April 9, the head of Czech Institute of International Relations Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Petr Drulák brought a seminar " The positive and negative factors of the relationship development with Central and Eastern European countries " to Zhejiang University students. Mr. Petr Drulák’s clear logic, vivid language, inspired teachers and students, and the atmosphere was enthusastic. The seminar was organized by College of Public Administration Professor Li Jinshan.

 

During the period, Petr Drulák used words easy to understand for students in Eastern Europe of today's state of development. He first from the language, religion and so on to explain the diversity of the EU countries; Secondly, the Council of Europe, the European Commission and the European Parliament and expounds the basic organizational structure of the EU; again, reviewed the economic development in Central and Eastern European countries, as described in relations with Europe were foreshadowing; Finally, the dual economic and political dimensions of the European Union countries and Central and Eastern European countries, relations with China the focus in the development of relations with China, Petr Drulák thinked that some countries pay more attention to political considerations, some countries pay more attention to economic efficiency.

 

In the interactive session, students actively asked questions, problems not only to further expand on the lecture content, but also current affairs focus, Petr Drulák President for the students answered them the issue, praised the students look at the issue from time to time perspective and new ideas widely. After Two-hour’s dissussion, the students learned a lot, and the seminar was held successfully.
