On the morning of April 21, Professor LI Shenming  and other 5 teachers and students from the Statistics Department of Feng Chia University in Taiwan visited our college to take on academic exchange activities. Professor Li gave a lecture with the topic—Comparison of Taiwan Private Schools’ Pension System and the Actuarial Study of “Welfare Saving Trust” Implemented by Feng Chia University.

Professor Li emphatically introduced the reformation of private schools’ pension system in Taiwan, and elaborated it with the example of “Welfare Saving Trust” which was implemented by Feng Chia University. From the background of an aging population, Professor Li analyzed the background of reforming the retirement system, compared general annuity products with annuity savings retirement benefits, and particularly discussing something related to pensions of one’s birthday. At the same time, Professor Li also demonstrated the use of actuarial form interfaces to the audience, and finally came to the conclusion and made suggestions.

Teachers and students on the scene showed a strong interest in the lecture, putting forward relevant questions. Professor Li explained all those questions. The lecture made a great success.
