On 2^nd January, 2013, Qingyuan Society held the first gathering in the new year, centering around the cooperations between the young liberal art teachers of ZhejiangUniversity and HangzhouResearchCenter for Development. HangzhouResearchCenter for Development invited the young teachers to participate in the program: “Our Round-table Conferences” of Hangzhou TV Station, “Life and Development” forums and some research projects on hot social issues and social effects of the programs.

Yuan Qing, Vice President of Faculty of Social Sciences expressed her delight at the cooperations between Qingyuan Society and HangzhouResearchCenter for Development and the devotion of the young scholars of the university to the democracy and livelihood of Hangzhou. She hoped Qingyuan Society would exercise the intelligence of its members to exert a positive force in popularizing science. Faculty of Social Sciences will provide necessary assistance for the young teachers to exercise their efforts outside the campus.
