Junior World Entrepreneurship Forum (JWEF for short) Held in Zhejiang University
JWEF, a sub-forum of World Entrepreneurship Forum (WEF for short), was held in Zhejiang University on 19th April. JWEF hopes to promote and accelerate the cultivation of junior entrepreneurs and bring junior perspectives to the WEF annually.
As one of the hosts of WEF, School of Management at Zhejiang University has long dedicated to tapping the potential healthy force of China by cultivating the “Entrepreneurship, Innovativeness, Global Visions and Social Responsibility” of students. Promoted by the School of Management, Global Entrepreneurship Program, subordinated to the School, after negotiating with JWEF, France, secured the right to host JWEF in China. On that day, over 300 participants, including junior entrepreneurs, students and university teachers were attracted to the forum.
The JWEF this time included speeches and round-table conferences of the guests in the morning, small-scale round-table workshops, pitch competitions and social banquets for entrepreneurs in the afternoon and the evening.
JWEF, as a global program authorized to the organization of the young students, aims to hold academic forums of the international professional scale. Since 2008, over 20 forums, 100-plus lectures and over 400 workshops have been held in 20-plus countries, attracting 1000-odd students.
