The Fourth International Workshop on “Logic, Rationality and Interaction”
The Workshop, hosted by Center for the Study of Language and Cognition, Zhejiang University was held from October 9th to 12th in Zijingang Campus, Zhejiang University. This biennial workshop, based on cross-disciplinary modern logics, aims to explore the features of rational subjects in knowledge obtaining, information exchanges and interactive activities by connecting experts and scholars on logic, philosophy, economics, computer science and human intelligence and to make use of frontier technology in computer science, mathematics, economics and philosophy.
Over 60 experts and scholars, including 25 foreign scholars from Britain, Germany, America, Holland and France were present at the Workshop. They had discussions around 30 reports on logic, philosophy, mathematics and computer science. Altogether 23 papers and 10 abstracts were selected anonymously into Logic, Rationality and Interaction, a collection of essays (edited by Davide Grossi, Olivier Roy and Huaxin Huang) and would be published by Springer.
The speeches and reports analyze the interaction and cognition of rational subjects from different perspectives, facilitate interdisciplinary exchanges and show the instrumental and intelligent applicative features of logic itself. Scholars at home and abroad conducted extensive exchanges not only in academic studies, but in understanding cultural differences and strengthening academic cooperation.
