The Conference gathered several top scholars in contemporary international law and comparative law to conduct heated academic discussions on “‘The Belt and Road’ Initiative and Contemporary International Law”. Professor WANG Guiguo of Guanghua Law School expressed the idea that it was essential to coordinate the international obligations of related countries, including China in promoting ‘The Belt and Road’ Initiative. In addition, it was also of great importance to impart knowledge and awareness of laws to the enterprises in foreign investment. Only when enterprises know how to protect their interests can their rights be protected through international agreements.
