The Conference, hosted by Center for the Study of Language and Cognition (CSLC), Zhejiang University, was held on April 2nd and 3rd, attracting 16 scholars to deliver speeches and conduct in-depth discussions.

Logic and argumentation, an interdisciplinary and cross-disciplinary research, covers logic, philosophy, computer science, artificial intelligence and law. The Conference aims at promoting communication and cooperation between ZJU and other first-class academic institutions at home and abroad in logic and argumentationa. A review committee consisting of 23 distinguished scholars from Britain, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Austria, Israel, Luxembourg, Argentina, South Africa and other countriesrigorously assessed submitted papers, and finally 9 papers from Paul Sabatier University of France, University of Amsterdam of Netherlands, University of Aberdeen of the UK and other domestic universities were accepted as conference papers.
