“Collaborative Poverty-relief Experimental Base” Established in Hengshan, Shaanxi Province by the Center for Agricultural and Rural Development (CARD)
In May 14, CARD signed an agreement of co-building “Collaborative Poverty-relief Experimental Base” with Hengshan, Shaanxi Province in “2016 Silk Road International Exposition and 20th Chinese Fair on East and West Cooperation, Investment and Trade”.
Hengshan, located in Yulin, northern Shaanxi Province, is a key link in the national energy and chemical industry base under construction and the “West to East Gas, Coal and Power Transportation Project”, as well as a frontier fortress town and a revolutionary base of long history. CARD, with their long-time research on poverty alleviation, proposed that poverty alleviation should be both “accurate” and “collaborative”, so the experimental base was built in Hengshan. The agreement states clearly that CARD will provide consulting, planning and training services for Hengshan on industrial development, planning, eco-environment, public service and quality improvement. Meanwhile, by utilizing its brand influence, CARD will introduce various resources for collaborative poverty alleviation. So far, there have been “CARD” rural e-business research center, “Oracle retrospection”, Jingdong E-commerce in Hengshan and some other projects are being negotiated.
