On July 2 and 3, the Symposium of “G20 Hangzhou Summit and Promoting the Transformation of World Political and Economic Order”, co-hosted by School of Marxism, Zhejiang University; School of Marxism Studies, Renmin University of China; World Socialism Research, the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences; and sponsored by School of Marxism, Zhejiang University, was held in Zhejiang University. 

The experts and scholars conducted heated, thought-provoking and valuable discussions on eight topics, namely, “Research on the new practices, new concepts and new strategies of General Secretary Xi Jinping on diplomatic work”, “How to actively participate in building an innovative, vigorous, interconnected and inclusive world economic system”, “Research on the international strategic environment of G20 Hangzhou Summit”, “Research on the position of G20 summit in the strategies of major powers”, “Research on American global strategies”, “Research on the relations between the United Nations and G7, G20, BRICS countries, Shanghai Cooperation Organization, 10 ASEAN countries, Group of 77, Non-Aligned Movement and global governance”, “Research on the stipulation, revision and improvement of World Bank, IMF and other international regulations” and “Research on the impact of WTO, TPP and TTIP on China and countermeasures”.
