Lecture Abstract】:Can linguist research help language teaching? I try to translate the research results of Chinese grammar and semantics into two resource websites that can be used for teaching, and I hope to contribute two cents for linguists! The first is to construct the “Chinese Verb Net of Meaning” (Mandarin Verbnet http://mega.lt.cityu.edu.hk/~yufechen/#/): The research method is based on framework, and is used by construction. It follows the frame semantics proposed by linguist Charles J. Fillmore and the construction grammar theory proposed by A. Goldberg, referring to FrameNet with English verbs as the research object, and paying attention to the lexicalization characteristics of Chinese verb vocabulary, and systematically analyzing the grammatical differences and semantic types of Chinese verbs.
