Abstract

Interdisciplinary cooperation is one of the major trends in the current academic development, but its difficulty is obvious to all. This lecture is based on a research during my Ph.D., using the cognitive map approach to explore the minimum knowledge sharing degree required to achieve interdisciplinary cooperation. The research found that there are two modes of interdisciplinary cooperation, matching two different minimum knowledge sharing degrees. Then it gives the social psychology explanation of these two cooperation modes, and puts forward four policy recommendations based on the research results.
