[Speaker Intro]

Bruno Dallago holds a PhD.in economics, and is Professor of Economics at the University of Trento and Academic Director of the Graduate School on Local Development. He was President of the European Association for Comparative Economic Studies, and Visiting Professor at various universities including the University of California at Berkeley and Hitotsubashi University at Tokyo. He has long served as a consultant and advisor to international organizations such as the World Bank, OECD member countries, and the International Monetary Fund. His research interests include comparative economics, transforming economies of Central and East Europe, SMEs and entrepreneurship, and corporate governance.
