[Speaker Intro]

Andrei Yakovlev is Director of Institute for Industrial and Market Studies (IIMS) at the National Research University – Higher School of Economics (Moscow, Russia) and a professor at HSE Department of Public Administration. Yakovlev is also President of Association of Russian Economic Think Tanks, and Senior Advisor to the Government of the Russian Federation. He has long served as a consultant and advisor to international organizations such as the World Bank, OECD member countries, and the International Monetary Fund. He is engaged in research on institutional economics, environmental economics and industrial organization theory, and has recently focused on the digitization of small and medium-sized enterprises, and the reshaping of industrial chains and supply chains in the post-epidemic era.
