Qingyuan Institute, the first academic society for young teachers of Zhejiang University, aims to inspire thoughts, improve learning, make friends and cultivate tastes. Qingyuan Reading Party is initiated by Qingyuan Institute to popularize the reading atmosphere and share the fun of reading.
Qingyuan Reading Party holds 2 or 3 parties monthly and one speaker will be invited each time. The Party will center on the intensive reading of classics and discussions of problems. All the teachers and students are welcome.

About the Speaker:
Chen Zhijian, associate professor at Dept. of History, Zhejiang University and member of Qingyuan Institute, is expert in history of the Sui and Tang Dynasties, history of politics and institutions. His major works include A Study on the County System of the Tang Dynasty, Beautiful Landscape of the Tang Dynasty and Lectures on a Preliminary History of Hangzhou.
Admission: Admission form is obtained from Service Center, Lobby of Zijingang Library. 20 students or teachers are admitted.
