The book, based on the evolution of Rorty’s philosophical thoughts, explains the status and influence of Rorty’s philosophy in modern Western philosophical development, compares the relationship and divergences between Rorty’s philosophical thoughts and those of Dewey, Davidson, Ludwig Wittgenstein, Martin Heidegger and Jacque Derrida.
