Professor Wu is Executive Vice Dean of the School of Management, Zhejiang University, and he is the Director of National Institute for Innovation Management. In addition, his current positions include: Director, National Innovative Research Base on "Innovation Management and Sustainable Competitiveness”; He was Visiting Fellow to IfM, Cambridge University, and Fulbright Senior Visiting Fellow to Sloan School of Management, MIT. He has published in journals such as the International Journal of Technology Management, International Journal of Innovation and Technology Management, and has been granted 7 awards by Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China and the People’s Government of Zhejiang Province .His current research interests are in information technology and management change, technological innovation and competitive strategy, and strategies for globalization manufacturing.
Professor Wu has directed many research projects granted by central and local Government and National Natural Science Foundation of China (NNSFC). He has published many articles in International Journals and conferences including Studies in Science of Science, PICMET, IEMC, ISMOT, Science Research Management, etc. Selected books of professor Wu's include “Corporate strategy”, “Supply chain and logistics management”, “Industrialization driving by IT: theory and practice”, “The blue book of innovation economy of Zhejiang province” and “Global manufacturing and secondary innovation strategy”.
