
Professor Wang was the Fulbright Scholar in Residence at Old Dominion University(U.S.A.), and visiting professor at Cranfield School of Management, Lund University, Gothenburg University, University of Reading, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, University of Illinois at Springfield, North Carolina State University, Babson College and E.M. Lyon Business School.
His research Interests include strategic human resource assessment, global entrepreneurship, small business, family business, leadership, training and mentoring, organizational culture, and cross-cultural Oxford Programme, the project on successful psychological factors for entrepreneurship among Chinese and German small business supported by the DFG German Science Foundation, and the NSF China national key project with Harvard Business School on Strategic entrepreneurship, organization learning and change.
Professor Wang holds a master’s degree in industrial psychology from Hangzhou University, China(1982), a master’s degree in social sciences from Gothenburg University (1985), and a doctoral degree in industrial psychology from Hangzhou University, a joint program with Gothenburg University (1987). He won the 2007 First Award of the Fundan Premium Fund for Outstanding Contribution to Management in China.
