Professor and supervisor for Ph.D. candidates. Her main research interest is applied linguistics. She is now deputy director of the National Advisory Board for College Foreign Language Teaching of the Ministry of Education and serves on the editorial board of a couple of renowned journals including Language Assessment Quarterly. Her main publications include the book entitled Computerized Cognitive Adaptive Testing and papers in renowned journals including “The Influence of Task Complexity, Task Difficulty and Proficiency Level on Chinese Learners’ Accuracy in Performance” and “Development of a Translation Database based on Chinese-English Parallel Corpus”.
