Professor YAO Xianguo was born in 1953, the dean of College of Public Administration and “Qiushi” Distinguished Professor of Zhejiang University (China). His main research interests include political economics, transition economics, labor economics and social security, human resources management. Currently, Prof. YAO is vice-president of China Industrial Economic Association, member of National MPA Education Steering Committee, executive director of China Association for Labor Studies and president of Zhejiang Public Administration Association, etc.
Prof. YAO has undertaken 45 research projects granted by China National Natural Science Foundation, National Social Science Foundation and province / ministry. He has published over 100 papers in domestic and international academic journals and more than 10 books such as Human Capital Investment and Labor Market Management in China.
