
From Hazard Confrontation to Optimal Coexistence—Security Concept in a Broad Sense and Value Positioning of Non-traditional Security Strategy, by classifying the security concepts and clarifying the interrelationship between security and human existence, puts forward the security concept of “optimal coexistence” in a broad sense. Furthermore, the paper explores the research model, ethics orientation of security in a broad sense as well as its security theory paragon to offer a new theoretic perspective for the value positioning of non-traditional security strategy. It won The Third Prize in International Studies of Excellent Achievements Awards of the 4th Research on Humanities and Social Sciences of Chinese Institutions of Higher Learning.
