Cultural Interpretation of Contemporary Chinese Historical Novels, taking contemporary Chinese historical novels since 1980s, especially the novels of Yao Xueyin, Ling Li and Er Yuehe as examples, makes a complete discussion of the reality evolution, overall style, global awareness, indigenous stand of contemporary Chinese historical novels. Besides, a theoretic system of modern historical novels is raised.It won The Third Prize in Chinese Literature of Excellent Achievements Awards of the 5th Research on Humanities and Social Sciences of Chinese Institutions of Higher Learning.
