Perceptual Poetics: Merleau Ponty and French Philosophical Mainstream is the first comprehensive work in China on Merleau Ponty’s thoughts. Taking the development of Merleau Ponty’s philosophical thoughts as the longitude, the comparison between Merleau Ponty and Jean-Paul Sartre, etc. as the latitude, the book demonstrates the essence of Merleau Ponty’s philosophical thoughts from the perception, body, language, otherness and nature. The book was also awarded the first prize in the Excellent Achievements of Philosophical and Social Sciences in Zhejiang. It won The Second Prize in Philosophy of Excellent Achievements Awards of the 5th Research on Humanities and Social Sciences of Chinese Institutions of Higher Learning.
