Representation and Cognitive Development, from the evolution and development of cognitive capabilities, demonstrates a representation concept different from semiotics and the strong coupling concept of dynamic system theory. It raises a cognitive development model and classifies the cognitive development zone into three big evolution and growth levels. In addition, it upholds the common ideas of dynamicism and holds that the intelligent agent can not represent environment by being isolated from the environment. It won The Second Prize in Philosophy of Excellent Achievements Awards of the 5th Research on Humanities and Social Sciences of Chinese Institutions of Higher Learning.
