Sentiments Order Virtue: Adam Smith’s World of Ethics is the latest work on the study of Adam Smith’s The Theory of Moral Sentiments and it is also the book with the most materials and most solid knowledge. The book examines the changes of Adam Smith’s ethics thoughts from the first edition to the sixth edition of The Theory of Moral Sentiments and the main reasons. It also discusses the relationship between Adam Smith’s ethics thoughts and those of forerunners and of the contemporary thoughts. It won The Second Prize in Philosophy of Excellent Achievements Awards of the 5th Research on Humanities and Social Sciences of Chinese Institutions of Higher Learning.
