An International Symposium on “Issues and Strategies: Aging in China”Held in Zhejiang University

An international symposium on “Issued and Strategies: Aging in China” held by CEPAR, the University of New South Wales of Australia, Social Science Experiment Center of Zhejiang University and Research Institute of Population and Development of Zhejiang University was held in Zhejiang University on 10^th and 11^th, May.

More than 50 experts and scholars from the University of New South Wales of Australia, Peking University, Tsinghua University, Renmin University of China, Nankai University, Shandong University, Zhejiang University, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, National Development and Reform Commission, Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention were present at the symposium.

The symposium, centered on ten themes of population transformation, aging and health, senior citizen care, intergenerational transfer and polices for senior citizens, etc., made great achievements since a lot of young scholars were present and shared their research fruits.
