From June 15^th to 16^th, 2019, the Ninth Annual ZJU International Conference on Industrial Economics successfully held on Zijingang Campus, Zhejiang University. Well-known scholars from all over the world shared the latest research results and entered into in-depth discussions and exchanges in terms of the medical market, the employment network, payment intermediary platforms, digital economy, trial products, the expert market, corporate compensation measures, product search, environmental policies, market incentives and parity terms.

The meeting was chaired by Professor Chen Yongmin of University of Colorado as well as Professor Pan Shiyuan, Deputy Dean of School of Economics as well as Director of Center for Research of Private Economy (CRPE), Zhejiang University. At the opening ceremony, Prof.Pan delivered a speech on behalf of the organizers of the conference. He warmly welcomed the guests attending the conference, and hoped that experts and scholars can exchange the latest research results and inspire each other through this platform so as to contribute to the prosperity of China’s industrial economics.

The ZJU International Conference on Industrial Economics is a high-end brand academic activity that CRPE strives to build. It has been successfully held for nine sessions and has produced significant influence and high reputation in the field of international industrial economics. Each year, renowned scholars are invited to exchange the latest research fruits and scholars from universities at home and abroad, especially young scholars  attracted to actively participate in the conference, which highlights the value of CRPE as a top academic exchange platform of the key research base of the Ministry of Education.
