Established in 2011, Center for Compilation and Research of Local Historical Documents, Zhejiang University is based on the investigation, collection, compilation and database construction of local historical documents and explores innovative studies on the social history, regional history and legal history through theories and methodology of history, sociology, anthropology and other related disciplines. At present, its implemented projects include collection and research of judicial archives in Longquan, filing and cataloging of lawsuit archives in Yongjia, Wenzhou in the Republic of China, collection and cataloging of private possessions of Shentu Yongjian in Xiaoshan, selection of archives in the Republic of China in Archive Bureaus of Yunhe and Jingning. Collection and research of judicial archives in Longquan is the major tender project of National Social Science Fund of 2013 and one of the top ten academic progresses of Zhejiang University of 2015. The first and second series of Selection of Judicial Archives in Longquan won the first prize for the 18^th Outstanding Achievement Award of Philosophy and Social Sciences in Zhejiang Province (2015), the second prize for National Excellent Ancient Books of 2014 and many other awards.
