Zhejiang University-University of Nottingham Research Center for Chinese and Global Economic Policy (CGEP) was jointly established by Research Center for Globalization and Economic Policy, University of Nottingham (GEP) and School of Economics, Zhejiang University in 2012. Its research team is composed by English and Chinese researchers in half. Prof. Zhao Wei serves as its Chinese director, Prof. Chris Milner as its English director and Prof. Huang Xianhai as its director of Academic Committee.

Its researches cover global economic governance, foreign trade, FDI and enterprise internationalization, space economics, and technological innovation and industrial transformation and upgrading. CGEP is featured by its global perspective, its spatial vision and the combination of Chinese and global perspectives. Relying on its research directions, CGEP is committed to promoting international cooperation and exchanges of academic researches. Thus, it can judge more accurately the development trend of global and Chinese economy, providing corresponding recommendations and intelligence support for governmental departments and business decision-making.
