Center for Public Service and Performance Evaluation Studies, Zhejiang University was developed from Center for Governmental Performance Evaluation Studies, School of Public Affairs, Zhejiang University in March 2015, whose director is Hu Shuigen. It is principally engaged in researches of public service theories, management innovation, investigation, performance evaluation, intelligent decision-making technology, standardization and policy consultation.

Center for Public Service and Performance Evaluation Studies is currently responsible for the major project of National Social Science Fund of “Research on Index System Construction and Performance Evaluation of Public Cultural Service”, and national science and technology supporting programs of “Research and Demonstration of Public Cultural Scientific and Technological Service Capacity Construction and Performance Evaluation Technology” and “Third-party Assessment of Public Service Quality in Xiangshan County”. Its recent research result of Research on Government Mmanagement and Public Service Standardization has won the first prize for Zhejiang Provincial Government Award. Its project of “Innovative Team of Big Data + Smart Healthcare Service” has been supported by Zhejiang University.
