Center for Research of Private Economy, Zhejiang University
Established in 2002, Center for Research on Private Economy, Zhejiang University (CRPE) became a key research base on humanities and social sciences of Ministry of Education and national innovation base on philosophy and social sciences (type I) in 2004.
Rooted in practice and pursuing an academic peak, CRPE studies private economyfrom Zhejiang Province to the whole country. It analyzes the growth of private enterprises with methods and tools of modern economics and provides high-end think tank services for enterprises, government and the society through cutting-edge and high-quality researches.
CRPE integrates domestic and foreign first-class research teams to carry out frontier theoretical researches and academic activities and to undertake major national projects and international cooperation projects, forming a series of high-level research results.
In 2009, CRPE was named China’s Leading Research Institute of Decision-making Consultation by Outlook Weekly and won the award of China’s First-class Research and Consultation Agency on Private Economy.
