As one of the leading institutes in innovation management studies sponsored by the National “985 Program”, National Institute for Innovation Management (NIIM) at Zhejiang University is devoted in promoting innovation management and competitiveness related studies in China. It is known for its pioneer work in initiating technological innovation management studies based on China’s practice, its remarkable achievements and very active cooperation network worldwide.

 

NIIM is also endeavoring in key disciplinary studies and postgraduate programs, such as, the national key discipline, Management Science and Engineering, and the other two provincial key disciplines, Business Management, Public Management, providing five doctoral programs and hosting two post-doctoral research stations.

 

At present, NIIM has six sub-institutes, namely Global Manufacturing and Innovation, Service Innovation and Developing Strategy, Intellectual Property, Standard and Knowledge , Social Innovation and Inclusive Development ,  Science and Technology Innovation Policy ,   Innovation Based Entrepreneurship”.

 

Owing the vigorous research team with global vision, NIIM is trying its best in attracting national and international researchers and professors to visit, to teach and to collaborate, with our worldwide research network.

 

Sticking with world’s research frontier, NIIM is engaged in exploring and advancing the latest innovation management theories, primarily based on developing countries’ practices, in effort to construct a world’s first-class academic research platform a leading think tank for governments and enterprises, and the information center in innovation management studies.
