Established in January 2007, Research Center for Chiang Kai-shek and Modern China is the first academic research institution all over the world to study Chiang Kai-shek.

Upholding international, frontier and modernized academic principles, it strives to enhance the research level of Chiang Kai-shek and promote international exchanges and cooperation on Chiang Kai-shek academic researches. It has held 4 international symposiums on Chiang Kai-shek and Modern China and more than 30 academic lectures, and published nearly 10 books on Chiang Kai-shek researches. It has also hosted 2 study camps of young scholars with Yintai Public Welfare Foundation and sponsored more than 20 master’s and doctor’s dissertations on Chiang Kai-shek with Handnice Group.

In 2015, Chiang Kai-shek information collation and database construction, presided by Prof. Chen Hongmin, won the major tender project of National Social Science Fund. After 10 years of efforts, Research Center for Chiang Kai-shek and Modern China has become the domestically leading and internationally renowned research center, talent training center and information center for Chiang Kai-shek.
