On June 2014, Center for Culture of Science, Technology and Industry, Zhejiang University was developed from Research Center for Industrial Culture under the cooperation of Zhejiang University and Zhejiang Association for Science and Technology, which is committed to conducting multidisciplinary studies of art and science and becoming a window of communication between the academia and society.

enter for Culture of Science, Technology and Industry owns a subordinate academic research institute--Institute of Science, Technology and Social Development and several research and development institutes to recruit masters, doctoral and postdoctoral students to carry out cooperative researches.

Center for Culture of Science, Technology and Industry has undertaken a dozen major projects of Ministry of Education, National Natural Science Fund, National Social Science Fund and other provincial and ministerial projects. It has also published more than 100 academic papers and over 20 academic monographs and translated works. Besides, it has won more than 10 provincial and national prizes for outstanding achievements on scientific research and teaching.

Center for Culture of Science, Technology and Industry actively functions as a governmental think tank and vigorously promotes the “Five in One” construction of politics, economy, society, culture and ecology. It has also completed dozens of business consulting projects, effectively promoting industrial transformation and upgrading.
