With its achievements in internationalization, Journal of Industrial Engineering and Engineering Management was listed into “2012 Chinese Academic Journals with Profound International Influence”.

In order to reflect the international influence of the Chinese academic journals, Metrology Research Center of Chinese Scientific Literature and the Library of Tsinghua University, taking the citation database of Web of Science as a statistical source, developed the “Chinese Academic Journals-International Citation Report” to calculate and analyze the total citation frequency and influence factor of Chinese academic journals. Based on the order of aggregative indicators, the selection of the Top 5% and the suggestions from experts, 209 academic journals (175 of science and technology and 34 of social sciences) were listed into “2012 Chinese Academic Journals with Profound International Influence”. Their major indicators are comparable to those of SCI, SSCI journals, which signify the Chinese academic journals have made inspiring achievements in their “going global” strategy.
