2013 MBAs’ Asia-Pacific Conference for Deans and Directors Held in Hangzhou
The Conference, co-organized by School of Management, Zhejiang University and the International Approval Institute Association of MBAs (AMBA), was held in Hangzhou, China from 27th to 29th November, 2013 with the theme of “Globalization of Business Schools: Strategies and Perspectives”.
Those present at the conference were the deans and directors from the distinguished schools of business in Asian Pacific areas, and accredited experts from the AMBA to outline the accreditation strategies and prospects for the AMBA in the business schools of Asian Pacific areas. The honorable guests included Sir Paul Judge, Chairman of AMBA; Mr. Andrew Main Wilson, CEO of AMBA; Dr. Li Jun, Director of China Academic Degrees and Graduate Education Development Center; Professor Song Yonghua, Executive President of Zhejiang University; Professor Wang Zhongming of School of Management at Zhejiang University and Chief Representative of AMBA China; Professor Wu Xiaobo, President of School of Management at Zhejiang University, Professor Ronald Tuninga from AVT Business School, Denmark. They exchanged their views on global trends of business schools and held discussions on “Developing and implementing successful global MAB training strategies” and “The differences between leaders and entrepreneurs”, etc.
