The paper, jointly written by Dr. Wang Zhijian from Laboratory of Experimental Social Sciences, Zhejiang University, Professor Xu Bin from Public Administration College of Zhejiang Gongshang University and Director of Laboratory of Experimental Social Sciences, Zhejiang University and Zhou Haijun from Institute of Theoretical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, was published in Scientific Report of Nature Publish Group, according to the report by Zhejiang University Research Institute of Social Sciences on 25th July, 2014.

After thepreprint of the paper (arxiv:1404.5199) was uploaded onto arxiv, many international professional popular science media and mass media carried this Chinese scientific achievement in scientific progress reports. Later, Chinese media also covered the report. In all, these reports in China and foreign countries can be found in the news column of Zhejiang University Laboratory Website.

In the field of social sciences, controlled laboratory experiments have become the breakthroughs in the theoretical development of social sciences, sources for new knowledge and the methods for pretesting policy results. Laboratories aim at studying frontier basic theories in social sciences, building a first-class world technology platform for experiment teaching and research, meanwhile, providing an academic atmosphere for the teaching and research of social sciences experiments in Zhejiang University. The Economic Science Association (ESA) is an international academic community of experimental social sciences. The laboratories of Zhejiang University are a regular participant of the Association and abide by its academic princiles.
