Regional Studies Association China Conference2015, hosted by Regional Studies Association China Division and organized by Zhejiang University was held in Zhejiang University from November 25th to 27th, with the theme of “Harmonious Development, Common Prosperity and the Transformation of Cities and Regions”. LIU Weidong, Director of Regional Studies Association China Division and Research Fellow of Institute of Geographic Sciences and Natural Resources Research, CAS; Professor Michael Dunford, visiting scholar to Institute of Geographic Sciences and Natural Resources Research, CAS; Professor Andrew Beer, Chairman of Regional Studies Association were the chairmen of organizing committee. Besides, Associate Professor WANG Chen, Deputy Secretary General of Regional Studies Association China Division and Assistant to the Dean of School of Earth Sciences, Zhejiang University was the chairman of executive committee. In addition, over 120 scholars from 22 countries, e.g. Britain, China, America, Germany, Holland, Brazil, South Africa, India, Turkey, Mexico and Pakistan were present at the Conference. Professor LUO Weidong, Vice President of Zhejiang University and LIU Weidong, Research Fellow of Institute of Geographic Sciences and Natural Resources Research, CAS addressed the opening ceremony.

About 90 research papers from over 120 scholars were discussed in the three-day Conference.
