“Forum of Academic Masters” Formally Launched for 120th Anniversary of Zhejiang University

On April 10th, Eric S. Maskin, winner of 2007 Nobel Prize in Economics gave a lecture entitled “The Challenges Chinese Economy is Facing—why there is widening gap between the Rich and the Poor in China” in Zhejiang University, kicking off a series of lectures in “Forum of Academic Masters” to welcome 120thAnniversary of Zhejiang University in 2017, which is a high-end academic activity for gathering over 120 masters at home and abroad to deliver wonderful lectures and for invigorating campus atmosphere.

  

Eric S. Maskin, professor of Adams House, Harvard University, together with Leonid Hurwicz and Roger B. Myerson, won the Nobel Prize in Economics for having laid the foundations of mechanism design theory.

 

Prof. LUO Weidong, Vice President of Zhejiang University chaired the Forum, which was hosted by Zhejiang University and Beijing Foundation for Contemporary Economics and organized by School of Economics, Research Institute of Social Sciences and Senior Training Center of School of Economics of Zhejiang University.
