On April 15th, after students’ defense and judges’ comments for the Third Students’ Excellent Research Fruits in Humanities and Social Sciences of Zhejiang University, two achievements were granted Grand Prizes, 14 First Prizes, 10 Second Prizes and 12 Third Prizes.

The Two Grand Prizes are “Re-examining the Relationship between Land Survivl Rate and Farmers’ Business Modes in Transitional Period” by WANG Jianying, a postgraduate of School of Economics and “Binding Biological Motion and Visual Features in Working Memory” by DING Xiaowei, a postgraduate of Department of Psychology and Behavioral Sciences.

A total of 110 research achievements applied for the Prize, and 38 were selected into final defense after preliminary review, communication review, conference review and online publicity. Prof. YU Xunda, Prof. XU Xiaozhou, Prof. MA Bosen, Prof. HUANG Houming and Prof. PAN Shiyuan were the judges of the defense.

Prof. LUO Weidong, Vice President of Zhejiang University and some leaders of departments, faculties and schools were present at the defense.
