MO Yan and Le Clezio, Two Winners of Nobel Prize in Literature had Dialogues on “Literature and Education” in Zhejiang University
On May 24th, MO Yan, winner of Nobel Prize in Literature in 2012 and Le Clezio, winner of Nobel Prize in Literature in 2008 were invited to the second lecture of “Forum of Academic Masters”, one of the activities for 120th anniversary of the founding of Zhejiang University. With the theme of “Literature and Education”, they had dialogues with students, teachers, alumni of Zhejiang University and Hangzhou citizens.
WU Zhaohui, President of Zhejiang University delivered a speech at the Forum. Mr. XU Jun, professor from Nanjing University, translator of the works of Le Clezio and professor of Chang Jiang Scholars Program of Ministry of Education acted as the interpreter. The Forum was chaired by Professor XU Dai, Director of the Faculty of Humanities, Zhejiang University.
