The Center on “The Belt and Road” Cooperation and Development Collaborative Innovation of Zhejiang University was approved as one of the Fourth Group of “2011 Centers on Collaborative Innovation” by Department of Education, Zhejiang Province and Zhejiang Provincial Department of Finance.

It is reported that 12 centers were approved this time and the four of them were initiated by Zhejiang University, the other three being “Center on Collaborative Innovation of Smart East China Sea”, “Center on the Collaborative Innovation of Key Foundations and Major Applications of New Aircraft” and “Center on the Collaborative Innovation of Crop Quality and Product Safety”. Department of Education, Zhejiang Province and Zhejiang Provincial Department of Finance would give financial support to the centers and offer priority support in graduate enrollment, talent program, studying and exchanges to foreign countries by public fund, etc.
