From May 23 to 25, International Symposium of “Qualitative Change and Value of Flagship Universities” was held in Yuanzheng Hotel, Xixi Campus of Zhejiang University. The Symposium was co-organized by the Asia-Pacific Higher Education Research Cooperation Organization and College of Education, Zhejiang University, sponsored by Educational Leadership and Policy Research Institute of Zhejiang University. Over 30 scholars from UC Berkeley, UCLA, University of Hawaii, University of Pittsburgh, East-West Center of the Department of State, the USA, The Hong Kong Institute of Education, Taiwan Fu Jen Catholic University, Taiwan Chung Cheng University, University of Malaysia, Chonnam National University, J. F. Oberlin University, Japan and Zhejiang University were present at the Symposium and held heated and fruitful discussions.
