Recently, National Planning Office of Philosophy and Social Science announced 2016 list of National Philosophy and Social Science Achievements Library, and two achievements of Zhejiang University, namely, “Studies on new stone carvings of historical materials and literary families of the Tang Dynasty” by Prof. HU Kexian from School of Humanities and “Scientific progress and transformation of China’s economic development modes” by Prof. XIAO Wen from School of Economics, were included.

The achievements listed in National Philosophy and Social Science Achievements Library represent the leading research level and academic creativity in China’s philosophy and social science. Forty-eight achievements from a total of 329 applications selected this year show right political awareness, significant theoretical and practical value, strong creativity and pioneering quality and the frontiers of their respective studies.
