【Speaker Introduction】：Ji Shan, Ph.D. in Finance, graduated from the University of New South Wales. He is a recipient of the Australian National Science and Technology Progress Award, Professor Michael Aitken AM (Xun Zuo). His research spans a wide range of fields, including finance, micro-market structure, data science, etc. The papers are published in the Journal of Business Ethics, Journal of British Management and many other professional journals.
【Lecture Introduction】：Dr. Ji will focus on the most important element of financial technology - data. Driven by the tide of Internet finance, “Big Data” has become the darling of the industry and academia, but most of the industry insiders rarely have the opportunity to directly observe and access financial big data, let alone the general public, so big data is constantly being deified as artificial intelligence and machine learning. Dr. Ji will continue to show the true content of commonly used financial big data through the case of empirical evidence, and discuss with everyone, what is the “big” of data.
