“Environmental Governance and Sustainable Development: Chinese Experience and Global Progress” successfully held
The International Conference on Environmental Governance and Sustainable Development: Chinese Experience and Global Progress was held on November 23—24, 2019 at Zhejiang University in Hangzhou. Nineteen scholars from different universities and research institutes were invited to give presentations on a variety of topics within environmental governance and sustainable development.
The Conference is co-hosted by the Environmental and Energy Policy Research Center of Zhejiang University, School of Public Affairs of Zhejiang University and Zhijiang Youth Social Scientists Association of Zhejiang Province. Professor Sujian Guo chaired the conference. Professor Ye Qi from Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, Professor Dajian Zhu from Tongji University and Professor Manhong Shen from Ningbo University were invited to give keynote speeches.
The participants come to the consensus that this conference managed to provide an important platform for researchers and policymakers to share views on environmental governance and sustainable development, making valuable contribution to both China’s eco-civilization and world’s sustainable development goals.
