On May 7, 2020, Elsevier officially released the “2019 Chinese Most Cited Researchers” list. Prof. Liu Haitao of Zhejiang University has been selected for the list again. He has obtained the great honor for six times consecutively since 2014. Professor Liu Haitao is the only scholar from Zhejiang University to be listed in the Social Sciences category.

It is noteworthy that in the annual rankings of Chinese universities and disciplines published by SoftTech, highly cited scholars are used as an important indicator of achievement (i.e. internationally renowned scholars).
