系列讲座I： Standards and Practice in Holding Public Schools Accountable for Student Performance in the United States

主要内容：该讲座介绍美国范围内，在没有联邦政府集权控制下，公立学校如何从教育政策到实践问责教育标准。从政府经费投入、教育平等、学生表现与教师教学质量等方面的研究数据，来解析全美基础教育现状与近年来逐渐改进的状态。
系列讲座II: Local School Governance in the United States

讲座地点：紫金港校区外语学院东五201
主要内容: 该讲座以地方控制与学区管理学校的角度来看全美学校教育改革实践。主要改革对象为教育组织管理的官僚层面，改革内容包括扩大学区决策参与范围和权力下放到学校的具体部门。主要改革策略为市长直接负责学区教育改革，改革成效表现为学校自主与选择权得到增加，家长权力与学生学术表现得到提升。

Professor Kenneth Wong, Chair and Annenberg Professor of Education, Political Science and Public Policy of Brown University, USA, visits Zhejiang University during March 24-31 to open up the Zhejiang-Brown University Global Forum and initiate the exchange program for the two Universities, and gives a series of the two research presentations.
