保罗•尼特讲学三起
当代杰出的宗教思想家保罗•尼特（Paul Knitter，1939-）教授将于6月底7月初来华讲学。尼特教授是美国沙勿略大学（Xavier University）荣休教授，目前则是纽约协和神学院（Union Theological Seminary in the City of New York）保罗•蒂里希（Paul Tillich）教授。1972年他从德国马堡大学获得博士学位。在之后多年里，一直从事宗教之间的对话研究，为推进人类不同信仰之间的彼此理解和尊重，促进相互的合作方面做出了巨大贡献。他主编的Faith Meets Faith丛书在学术界具有广泛的影响。

演讲人介绍：
保罗•尼特（Paul Knitter，1939-）是宗教多元论代表之一，倡导宗教对话，尤其基督教和佛教之间的对话，发展全球灵性，促进宗教之间的和谐与合作。
目前，尼特教授已经有三部著作被翻译成中文（《一个地球，多种宗教》《宗教对话模式》《耶稣与其他的名》），一部研究他的思想的博士论文（《苦难与拯救）以及多篇研究论文出版和发表。尼特对中国文化和信仰高度关心和赞美，盛赞中国传统宗教关系之处理艺术。他的畅销书《没有佛，我做不了基督徒》一书的中文版即将出版。
